Nina loves her, newly acquired, Olympus E-420. The only adverse comment she made referred to it having a touch of shutter lag. This was taken outside the Register Office in Taunton while we were waiting for the groom to arrive.
Getting my nose pierced for my 18th birthday. 
Done by Kate at Masterpiece Tattoos on Staten Island, NYC. And for everyone who keeps asking: no, it barely hurt. It hurt more the following days after in the healing process. I also don’t know why it bled so much. I’ve been getting mixed reasons, so I’m just leaving it as “it bled, oh well”.

I love Nina’s hair, I always wanted pink hair, they tell me I’m too old now (that’s the family)…….I have been most colours but pink is fab !!

Nina`s pink hair is lovely , its (IMO) a shame about all the rings. Then thats my preferance to have none, Nina is allowed her preferance.
It doe`s not diminsh an excellent image.

Thanks everyone. One of the best things about Photoshop Elements 8 (Mac) is the Automated Actions feature in Guided Edit mode. The action player is very effective and actions are now much easier to install. I used the lomo action from: coffeeteaphotography.blogspot.com/ in this picture. Check out these ladies’ site it’s rather excellent.

Seriously, why is everyone’s birthday in October? It’s definitely the most popular month for birthdays, almost everyone I know has a birthday at some point in October. My best friend’s birthday is October 10th.

Thank you! That’s the only time one of my piercings bled, too. Have had two others since that one, and neither of those bled. It must be something with the blood vessels in the nose… I’m not sure!

haha i thought i was the only one that bled like that when i got my nose pierced lol! and what’s weird, is that was the only time that any of my piercings ever bled.

mine bled for about a min. on a scale of 1 to 10…i’d say 4 or 5. it’s feels like a sting more than a pinch.
